Semantic layers, data models and digitizing companies
After various projects, I found myself that I do less of actual coding custom agents or RAG systems, and more process optimizations and definitions. I work more on data model and data warehouses, and making this data available to other systems by Semantic Layer. Cool stuff, but even for 2, at a glance, similar companies, semantic layers are quite different to build. Most of topics resemble on ERP (i.e., enova365, Comarch Optima, SAP) data and accounting.
M&A and flipping companies
While working on digitization services, I find it a bit hard to price. Fixed fee is not working well for me, and not everyone wants to share equity or sucess fee (rev-based). As an alternative I am looking into buying companies and improving it operations to be AI-Native (6-18 months). I am looking for partners, both those who would like to be passive (providing $$$) and operational (running the change management and strategy). We focus on $5m/y+ companies, mosty manufacturing and family businesses.
Harness Engineering for coding agents
With the coding agents being more and more “smart”, it gets harder and harder to keep those in some coding rules. Skills, context is no longer working. I am defining custom rules for code linting and patterns according to coding standards in companies.
Podcast
I have been working on my podcast idea since 2018 or such, initially as a youtube channel, now just a podcast. I plan to have solo episodes, 1o1 discussions and AMA sessions. Stay tuned
Community management platform
You can create any UI you want with tools like claude code or lovable. So what matters is business logic and data you have. Due to this, I decided we will be sunsetting CEE AI Hub’s platform as it was - web ui based. We are migrating parts of it as skills and MCPs. In the current times, building multi-tenant platforms seems irrelevant.
